Three Must Read Books from 2011

It has been my experience that every single time I read a book I get a new idea to improve my life.

I never was a voracious reader, I grew up reading the books that were required at high-school and college, I read all of them, BUT I never proactively invested in books just because I wanted to learn more.

When I was 25 years old I went to learn English in a little town call Bournemouth in South England for 2 months, and one morning, Alan, this cool British professor, started talking about how much he enjoys reading and how reading had transformed his life.

And for some reason, something ‘clicked’ at the time and right after the class I went straight to the bookstore and bought my first book in English.

Remember, I did not speak English at the time…well, Alan was right, reading great books consistently has the power to change your life forever.

If you were to stop and think about it, most authors compile 10, 15, 20 years of experience about one subject and it is available to you for 20 bucks (if you have a library card…it is free) and I am telling you, it is 1,000,000,000 more empowering that watching TV at night!

I want to share with you 3 favorite books that I have read in 2011…

The 2nd book you mentioned by Sam Horn is an awesome book! I met and heard Sam speak a few years ago right after she released this book. I need to pick it up and read it again.

It's sad that the high school and college you attended did not give you a love for books right from the beginning.
