This Is the Hardest Step

You just left your alcoholic, gambler, adulterer husband and now you are stranded on an indian reservation with no money, no food (except for the government cheese and a few dollars worth of food stamps) and three young mouths to feed.

Now, that’s what I call a ‘situation’.

How do you rebound?  How do you pick yourself up when you think your world has crumbled?

That’s the situation my mother was in over 30 years ago and looking back on it, I don’t know how she ever did it.

So I asked her.

And her answer was, “One step at a time!”.

I know many Influenceology community members have their own situation.  Either they are trapped in a financial conundrum or they are trying to switch careers or perhaps your business is just stuck.

The situation doesn’t really matter.  The solution does.

Not matter what your plan is to get yourself out of your current situation, you can only take it one step at a time.

My mother put her head down and her nose to grind stone and progressed forward each day trying to improve her and our lives.  And I’m happy to say that today she is happy, healthy and financially independent.

If you are facing a daunting uphill battle, remind yourself to take it one step at time.

The first step is the hardest.  It’s usually harder getting started than it is to finish.

No matter how far the walk is on your journey, everybody gets there one step at a time.

So take that first step today!

You can do it.

I believe in you.
